Dior Las Vegas Boutique Profiled in WWD

Las Vegas, NV ‐ Ensconced in a prime corner location at Crystals at CityCenter in Las Vegas, Dior's new 6,000 sq ft boutique built by Michilli exudes elegant luxury, traditional old-world craftsmanship, and modern innovation.

The ideal retail corner space allows both Dior women's ready-to-wear and Dior Homme-with entirely separate entrance facades and interior finishes-to share its customers via an internal passageway. The women's interior is modeled after their new Paris Avenue Montaigne's store concept.

Dior is a glittering gem featuring pure‐white Thassos marble parquet floors, inset silk carpets, ultra-clear crystal glass, display cases in polished stainless steel and antique bronze wrapped in luxurious fabrics, strie‐plastered ivory paneling and moldings and accents of dark gray stained wood. Dior Homme is dominated by minimalist graphic obtained through black and white high-gloss polyester lacquered paneling, Zimbabwe black granite floors, pure white back-lit light boxes and black leather benches.

Throughout the space, the state of the art audio‐video system of 33 synchronized screens enhances the shopping experience. The main salon of the women's store boasts 18-foot high ceilings with a 20-foot long wrapped plasma wall and surface-mounted French windows high above. On the suspended screens, a digital artwork by Oyoram constantly plays, drawing the eye upward; elsewhere, light boxes displaying landscapes from Southern France evoke an ethereal spirit.

The mesmerizing, 18-foot tall back-lit, multi‐layered glass facade features Dior's intricate "cannage" pattern, and is the first of its kind to be installed in the U.S. Its glow can be seen well beyond the Las Vegas Boulevard entrance to Crystals. Additionally the storefront showcases motorized window displays for Dior women's fashions and black aluminum paneling for Dior Homme.

Michilli's execution of stunning finishes and precise alignment of volumes has ensured a space that is at once sublimely beautiful, refined, and dynamic.

Located between two art installations, the Glacia ice sculptures and the vibrant flower carpet, Dior is situated opposite the Tree House restaurant.
