Description

After Hurricane Sandy rushed four feet of water into Balenciaga’s Chelsea boutique, the store was closed for seven months. In just four weeks, Michilli worked to restore the 5300 SF space into a showroom featuring polished concrete floors, exposed rafters, and LED lighting. Polished stainless steel hangbars and green marble plinths accent minimalistic space and serve as the displays for the showroom. The showroom has since held several events for buyers and Balenciaga is officially back in business.
