Shadow ArchitectsDescription
New York based Heyday opens its third and largest location in a townhouse style building on the Upper East Side. Dark charcoal paint is used in the building’s façade and is juxtaposed with bright white in its interior, most notably in the painted exposed brick wall. The resulting graphic effect is used to highlight display shelves and boxes that feature all natural products and extends towards the black staircase ascending into the facial center. The second story makes use of light wood floors and a dark metal ceiling. Custom blue-black wooden panels separate the treatment rooms, which are wallpapered with a calm inducing turquoise and grey dip-dye pattern reminiscent of the ocean.
