Description

Each of Virgil Abloh’s Off White stores has its own personality, which takes inspiration from the culture of the city it’s located in. The Milan-based fashion label opens its first American store in SoHo, modeling it after a gallery to mirror New York’s art scene. Simplicity rules the space, which was designed to maximize the designer’s creative freedom. He plans to constantly change the store’s aesthetic by collaborating with various artists. This live canvas-cum-boutique makes use of poured concrete floors and off-white walls, naturally. Rows of LED tube lights are suspended from the ceiling, adding dimension and symmetry to the space.
