Christian Dior opens its doors in Houston’s River Oaks District. The stunning two-story building is a collaborative masterpiece featuring the work of prestigious artisans sourced by both the client and Michilli. Just over the Rob Wynne installation on mirrored walls are expertly installed lights that delicately spread across the ceiling like stars -imparting a romantic celestial glow upon the boutique. Above the ready-to-wear salon, which is furnished with Laurent Chauvat tables and a Franck Evennou mirror, is a banded marble ceiling accent bordered with stainless steel. Etched starphire glass is used for the store windows and displays, while natural Sablée finish stone tavel covers the antechamber. Philippe Montels chain curtains add another elegant touch to the glamorous boutique.
