Description

The new Bvlgari Flagship set in the heart of New York City at 57th Street and 5th Avenue is an old world Italian temple that pays tribute to elegance, power, and beauty. For the exterior, thousands of handmade bronze rosettes are mounted to a diamond patterned lattice at the store’s façade. Beneath each rosette, shines a circular LED fixture that illuminates the frontage in a beautiful, elegant fashion. A multitude of marble and stone grace the interior –the floors of the 6,820 square foot space make use of white Pavonazzeto, Salome, Bois Jordan, and Red Porphyry. Russet veined Pavonazzeto marble columns flank the perimeter, while prominent Breccia di Serravezza archways border the entrance and windows. Pavonazzeto is also used in the creation of an uncut marble staircase enclosed in Pantheon inspired brass mesh. This Peter Marino designed marvel had just upgraded one of the most famous intersections in the world.
