Description

Construction of the Celine Wooster Street boutique involved rehabilitation of the original façade and the installation of new starphire glass windows. Built-ins include recessed travertine shelving and wall units, along with niches for display purposes. Pale grey Marmorino Veneziano creates distinction between areas designated for shoes, bags and accessories, and clothing. The brand’s signature use of natural stone is most prominent in the marble parquetry at the store’s entrance –which makes use of a myriad of stone and marble. Furniture was designed by Danish artist FOS (also known as Thomas Poulsen) specifically for the space.
