Description

The building of Gucci’s South Coast Plaza Flagship entailed the installation of signature Gucci millwork, wallpaper, and carpeting. These include trademarked paint colors formulated specifically for the brand’s exclusive use. Paint was applied with a Level 5 finish throughout the retail space. Schluter strips were placed on floors to accommodate owner provided carpeting, and walls were prepped with wire mesh to support advanced security systems. Scope of work included the placing of a new acoustical system and the sourcing and installation of new HVAC systems –including insulated and non-insulated ductwork, slot diffusers, and piping. Structural steel work was conducted for storefront framing, new A/C units, and millwork support. Storage shelving, new appliances, plumbing systems and hardware, and painting was conducted in the back of house.
