The iconic furniture store Design Within Reach has relocated its SoHo outpost to 150 Greene Street. DWR’s new retail showroom is in SoHo’s Cast Iron Historic District and spans 6,500 square feet over two floors. Design Within Reach selected a historic space built in 1860 for its strong architectural presence, which provides the ideal setting for presenting its collection of world-renowned furniture, lighting, and accessories. The showroom's design marries the old with the new, with features like the original stonework foundation wall, an existing skylight, and refinished hardwood floors alongside custom millwork and glass and metal partitions.
