Greenlight ArchitectureDescription
A three-story Italianate-style townhouse, built in 1853, serves as the first-ever flagship location for luxury Italian bedding and lifestyle brand SFERRA. Designed by Studio Monteleone & Associates in collaboration with the brand, the 2,600 square foot flagship showcases products in an experiential retail setting allowing guests and designers to immerse themselves in the world of SFERRA and imagine how the products will look in their own homes. The Townhouse also has a dedicated design studio where interior designers can host clients or work independently. Our scope of work included a full demolition with extensive structural improvements; structural framing, joist pocket patching, and patch back of masonry walls in addition to demolition of existing partitions, removal of acoustic ceilings, and existing finishes. The interior space received a complete fit-out with installation of new HVAC and MEP systems and all new interior finishes including custom lacquered shelving and millwork, Porcelanosa countertops and plinths, and baba reclaimed wood flooring.
