Description

Chopard recently unveiled their stunning new flagship at 730 Fifth Avenue in the historic Crown Building. The elegantly designed boutique was reimagined as a two-level penthouse inspired by New York’s Art Deco era, spanning a combined 2,450 square feet with soaring 16-foot-high ceilings on the first floor. Aside from the high jewelry and luxury watches, most striking is what’s suspended from the ceiling in the main salon: 400 custom-made Murano glass magnolia leaves designed by master glassmaker Venini. The chandeliers are a nod to Central Park’s magnolia trees, and the leaf motif extends to four openings on the walls, representing the four seasons. Equally stunning are the rich mahogany and brass vitrines, Fior di Bosco Italian marble flooring, amethyst tables, custom brass doors, velvet-clad furnishings, and floor-to-ceiling LED screens found throughout the boutique. The lower level houses a VIP area, the Gentlemen’s Club, and the Haute Joaillerie salon.
